What is the purpose and coverage of WiFi Hotspots available on our Campus

APR Condominiums has WiFi hotspots spread all over the property areas such as visitor parking, basement, podium, clubhouse and common area facilities. The main purpose of these hotspots is to enable cellular voice communications (Carrier VoIP Service, VoWiFi or WiFi-Calling), OTT-Voice calls and messaging services (Whatsapp, Skype, Telegram, Hike, etc), and any other firm of urgent/critical Internet Data Services, access to which, is otherwise taken for granted due to ubiquity of metro level cellular connectivity and mobile devices. Reasonable access to these data services is not practical/feasible in many areas of the  facility due to weak or non-existent cellular  signals (especially indoor areas like basement). And therefore this gap is filled by the Wifi Hotspots

These Wifi Hotspots, however, do not *presently cater to high bandwidth application such as Video streaming, Entertainment, Rich Social Media, etc.

It is therefore "Internet Dial Tone" for mobile devices for areas in the condominiums with no or weak cellular signals.
